I did a bit of a harder workout today that was about the same as I did the past 2 Fridays. I ran a 3 mile warm up at 7:47 AP then 1 mile down the big highway hill in 6:38. Back up the hill in 7:15. Last week I ran it in 7:33 which was was the fastest I had ever done that mile long climb. Today I had about an 8 MPH tailwind which helped. After the top of the hill I did 1/2 mile easy then 4x1 miles at 6:31 to 6:39 pace. I ran 1/2 mile between each at about 7:30/mile pace. It was the nicest day of the year so far. I finished just after dark. 7:09/mile ave for 11 miles

Hi Dave,

Looks like, from your entries, you're feeling good for Boston... :)

So far so good. Knock on wood. Every marathon that I've done in the past, I've been in the position you are right now, dealing with injuries leading up to it. Hopefully this will be a short recovery for you.
