AM   Ran 10 miles. The first 4 miles at 8:16 ave pace. Then 6 miles at 7:39 ave pace. On the last 4 miles I ran the first 1/4 of each mile at around 6:05 pace since I haven't run hardly anything under about 7:30 pace since the Des News 10k almost 3 weeks ago and I have a 5 mile race as part of a biathlon this weekend and just wanted to get the legs moving. It felt hard. Overall pace for 10 miles 7:54.

Hi Dave - I've been out of touch lately with the blog. I see you have a biathlon this weekend. Good luck! I've always wanted to try one of those since a tri is out as I sink like a rock in the water.

Good to have you back. I figured you must be taking a break after your 50 miler but it looks like your mileage is right back up there already.

I know what you mean about the swimming part of a tri. I always thought I was an ok swimmer but after a couple of laps I'm hanging on the side sucking wind. I guess if I did one I'd have to swim most of it on my back.
