I did a mt. bike ride this morning. It was a very nice morning. Calm with temps in the 40s to start which felt good after being out in the sun all day yesterday. I went for 20 miles on dirt roads in 1:23. After I got back and got my son on the school bus I ran for 5 miles at an easy 9 min. plus pace.

PM  Did three more easy miles.

Great weather to run in and what a nice run it was for you.

Are picking a Half Marathon even you want to run in the future yet?

Kory, I got drawn to run St George. Thats kind of going to be my main race for the year. I'll probably do the TOU half or the half at Pocatello. I'd like to do both but they are 1 week apart. I was planning to do a biathalon in three weeks but I may do the Provo river 10 miler instead. I'll probably do a few shorter races also. I wish I could recover as fast as you and I'd do more marathons.

How's the course for the Provo 10 miler. You could run the Pocatello half as a Training run, than run TOU as your race. It was really nice meeting you and your son.

Kory, I've never been on the course for the provo river 10 miler but I've seen some of it from the road. It is a bike/running path that follows the river kind of like the last 3 miles of the Ogden marathon I would guess.

I do plan on doing either pocatello 1/2 or TOU half with St George marathon as my main race.

What races do you have coming up?

I'm planning on doing the Wastach Relay on June 20-21, then I thought I might do the Des News Marathon, or I just might keep training for the Pocatello Marathon to crush my best time there. Then I might done both TOU and St. George marathon's like last year. But this will depend on how well I do in the Pocatello Marathon.
