In Northern Michigan today. Beautiful morning for a 6am run. Didn't sleep well so I figured I'd get at it since I was up. 8.75 miles fat burning today. Saw 3 deer. Nice change from the city.

A bit hot and humid today at 3pm. Temps in the lower 80s and humidity higher than normal for northern michigan. All in all much better than St Louis. 8.5 miles AB pace (7:45s).

Overcast, mid-70s, very humid. 8 miles fat burning today around 8:10s. Miles are starting to come together. We'll see where the weight is at when I get home from vacation. Still have probably 10 pounds to drop before I am back to training weight.

Cool morning in Michigan. Did 8 miles at a quick pace today. Took 4 short breaks to keep the pace up (7:32s).

Did 3 segments with a rest between each today. The first was 2.75 miles, mostly downhill. The second was 2.25 miles mostly flat and the 3rd was the first 2.75 miles in reverse, so mostly uphill. As is always the case at mhy parents cottage, there is no such thing as flat, or downhill or uphill as there are always rolling hills everywhere. Nonetheless, the 1st 2 miles of each segment was a progressive pick-up with the remainder a recovery section.

Segment 1: 7:56, 7:25

Segment 2: 7:34, 7:12

Segment 3: 7:23, 6:52

Total run was 7.75
