Ran to work tonight. 90 degrees and quite humid. Had some muscle discomfort in my left thigh so I stopped after 4 miles, walked for .34 and then ran the last mile. Opted to rest it and get a ride home from work. Splits for the 5 running miles as follows:

7:42, 7:25, 7:19, 7:14, 7:26

Asics Cumulus #2 Miles: 5.34

Are you taking some time off due to your thigh?

From LakeAnnDandy on Fri, Aug 14, 2009 at 09:27:39 from 24.107.205.165

Pre-emptive injury prevention. My sleep has been cut down recently and I'm only able to run late at night. As such, I'm taking time off until the kids go back to school (Tuesday) to make sure I don't put too much stress on my CNS.

Sounds like a wise plan.

How's everything with you?

Good. In Florida on business travel- very hot and humid. Lots of miles.
