5pm, 60 degrees, sunny with a slight breeze. Did a 6 mile run at marathon race pace [41:34 (6:49s -- was actually 5.95)] followed by a 1 mile recovery run. Immediately into a 5 mile run at slightly faster than 1/2 marathon race pace [31:53 (6:23s)] also followed up with a 1 mile recovery run. Tough workout, but man it feels great now. |
