Walked 6 minutes at 3.2 MPH at Physical Therapy.  Wow.

Actually, things seem to be improving.  The pain is still there with certain actions but the trigger points are receding.   Where last week I couldn't squeeze a soccer ball between my knees without pain, this week I can get a decent squeeze going before the pain hits.  Small victories.  My hope is that things will accelerate going forward.  On the plus side, with all this focus on seldom used core muscles, I now know what they are and do and have gotten strength I've not had previously.  On the down side, I'm at +10 pounds and counting.

Wow, I don't check your blog for... a few months and this is what I find? Holly molly Dale, I am so sorry you had so much trouble! Looks like you're on the path to recovery though: what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger! You'll lose that weight in no time once you get back to normal.

I was going to ask you about the Garmin 405, I saw your opinions on the discussion board - have you used it much, and what do you think about it now? I'm thinking in investing in one... what are your thoughts?

Thanks and feel better soon!

Hi Lucia. Thanks. Back 50 million years ago when I was running, I ran with the 405 every day. I still hate the bezel...its difficult to use when you sweat too much, it gets wet from rain, or just decides to be persnickity. Otherwise, its great.

Little victories is good. This won't last forever.
