4 miles in 33:21, 8:20/mi.  Ran at 7:30 am and it was already hot in the sun.  By this afternoon it was 89F in the shade.  This is crazy.  Now questioning my sanity on choosing a May marathon.....who would've thought this would happen.  Oh well....at least I'm feeling better after some good rest and am staying well hydrated.  Even mowed the lawn which was a beast.  Tomorrow's the big day.

Good luck tomorrow Dale. It looks like the weather is going to be a little cooler than it was today. Have a good run!

Gook luck tomorrow, I feel for you running a marathon in the heat=not fun.

Keep yourself cool with water from the begining.

From Dale on Sat, May 17, 2008 at 22:58:14

Thanks all. I made to people working the expo promise me that it would be cooler tomorrow. I'm hoping for clouds! Other than that, I finally started feeling pretty good this afternoon. We shall see....

Again good luck Dale, you've put in some great training for this marathon. A little cooler will be good. Douse water over your head from the start.
