4 miles in 32:02, 8:00/mi, HR 139. A hint of soreness in quads and hammies and a blister on right pinky toe but otherwise symptom free from yesterday's race. Kept the miles light and easy and got some good stretching in afterwards. Looking back on yesterday I think early lactic acid accumulation did me in, based on the way I remember feeling then and now. I need to remember that I do better taking it easy heading uphill, yet another thing I forgot yesterday. Lesson learned (again). Adrenaline 8 - 112.34 miles. |
