LM warmup (10 reps), 8 miles in 1:03:02, 7:52/mi, HR 142, w/ 10 x 12 sec Hill Sprints, 2.5 mile walk w/ dogs & stretching. Wiped out from yesterday's race. Left shin took some pounding yesterday. Considered bagging today's run, but figured an easy jaunt would help recovery more than sitting around all day. First few miles were very easy, which got things loosened up a bit so the pace started inching up in the last 5 towards normal easy pace. Decided to try the hill sprints....first 2 were completely uninspired but then the legs perked up and the remainder were okay. Legs were definitely tired by #10, so glad to have a reduced set on the schedule for today. More recovery to follow this week. |
