6 miles Easy in 49.08 (8:11/mi, avg HR 150).

Lousy sleep last night; felt stiff and sore today.  Slow pace for first 1.5 miles until I got loosened up and settled into normal pace for the effort.  Some new snow overnight means slush on the road, which should freeze nicely come tomorrow when the temps drop below freezing.  Sigh...

Please arrange to keep that cold weather up in the Pacific Northwest. I have had my fill of the nasty windchills.

If you squint, you can see the elk...

Nice pic, looks very similar to the scenery here. I can see the elk but not its race number.

Have you decided on a Spring race yet? Maybe thinking about that will help ease the pain of the snow and ice?! I saw some

"snow" melt running across the sidewalk today, and wondered if it would be icy.. turned out no. :)

Emery, I'm shooting for a May marathon. It's up in the air between 3, all on consecutive weekends. I'm hoping to get an idea of what work conflicts may present, but you know how that goes, so I'll likely just wind up picking one as we get closer.
