Back to feeling like crap, so no running today.  This is the strangest cold....seems to fade and then return, fade and return.  So I'm going to take a couple days off for the greater good to attempt to shed this thing permanently.  Not running today will be easy, since all the symptoms are in full bloom.....again.

Hope you can get over the pesky cold and can have great 2010. I finally decided to end by blog-free vacation and start blogging again.

Looking at some of your recent history I notice you've been doing some Brad Hudson style workouts. I've been doing the same. Have you been happy with how things have gone on this routine?

Welcome back. I do like Hudson's philosophy's. I'm a big fan of the short hill sprints as injury prevention....I think they have helped to keep my left hip flaring up again. I can also get behind the way he structures the progressions.....short speed and endurance converging on specific endurance later in the buildup. So far my results have been mixed, but it's been tough to tell since I'm really now just getting back to where I was before I had to take 5 months for injury rehab. So far, I'm a fan.

I tend to agree with you on all points. I'm looking forward to starting a marathon training cycle in a few weeks.

Glad to hear you're getting back to your former self. Here's to 2010 being injury free.
