Last 20+ miler for this training cycle. Cold and snow on the ground to start. Ran the Scott Turner loop twice with the extension to the cutoff three times, so plenty of elevation change throughout. HR monitor went bonkers for first 4-5 miles before settling down. Water only run today (no carbs). Felt a bit tired and legs heavy the first lap. Wound up making 3 brief pit stops which slowed me down a bit.  Picked up the pace a bit on the second lap and got the proverbial second wind....working harder but felt much better. First half in 1:34:18, 7:52/mi. Second half in 1:28:04, 7:20/mi. Legs didn't feel too stiff/sore afterwards, although left side adductor sore as usual and left ITB tight (pain along outer left hip and outer left knee).
