Today I finally felt like I got in a good workout. I started off with 40 min. on the eliptical doing four 5 min workouts in the performance range around 100 rpm's and the rest in the endurance range. Then I did 20 min. of upper and lower body weight training, and then went for a bike ride for 55 min. which ended up at about 14 miles, it ended up being a couple of hours of training. It felt good to get in a good hard workout. My hamstring dose'nt bother me on the bike or the eliptical. I will stick with these three until I feel that my leg can handle running again. I will give it about a month and see how things feel. My goal is to loose 10 pounds by the end of the year, come back running lighter, stronger, and faster. |
