AM - 7 untimed miles. Still feeling pretty tight this morning. After a couple miles my hips loosened up and I was able to relax and run better. Very peaceful, I need to do these types of runs more. Blew up my Saucony Triumphs today. The whole side ripped apart. I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in a pair of shoes, didn't even get 500 miles out of them before they fell apart (502 miles after the run, they fell apart mid run). It wasn't just one shoe either, both shoes were slowly ripping in the same spot and this morning the right one ripped along the whole outside arch area. Threw them in the trash right after the run. PM - 7 progression run 6:40-6:08 legs feeling pretty tight still but made it through.
