Randy was back from hunting, so we went to the regular MWF route. It was chilly this morning, but at least the rain had stopped. Felt pretty good after taking Sunday off.

Went and ran with Neil again this morning. One of these days that Cloverdale overpass is going to kill me. I'm just not sure if I'll die from the car hitting me on top, falling off the side, or a truck running me over once I hit the freeway. Rest assured, when it happens, I'll be sure and write about it in the blog.

My weight was down about 3 pounds this morning. I was 151 before the run and 148.5 when I got back. Holy crap! I haven't looked down at the scales and seen anything less than 150 in more than 20 years. The bad news is that I think it was mostly due to the fact that I didn't eat enough last night, so I was kind of dragging as I ran the last couple of miles home.

A little slower this morning. No miles under 8. Cold too.

A decent run, but I didn't really push it until the last mile. I'm getting kind of tired of finishing my runs in the dark. Hopefully the time change next week will help.

So I'm running down the street in the dark toward Randy's house and I see someone on the other side of the street pushing a jogging stroller, so I keep going. Then the person yells my name and I realize that it's Randy. Apparently the kid was sick and his wife was up all night, so it was his turn.

Needless to say, we didn't run as fast as we usually would. Ran shorter too, but when we finished I went for another mile and a half at a faster pace. I'm going to try to run faster tomorrow.

I got up and made the kids breakfast before going out and running this morning. So I ate two waffles and then knocked off 7 miles under 7:30 per mile. It's waffle power, I tell you.

A nice morning, a little chilly but comfortable. This puts me at 200 miles for the month.
