| | Boise, ID 6:30 am Cut it a little short this morning. Randy wasn't feeling well. But, I pushed him kind of hard keeping up negative spits. Then I ran around the block a couple of times to get my avg. pace down below 8.

Boston, MA 7:00 am Went up around downtown, across the river and then around the common. Kept a good hard pace up and finished with a 7:43 avg. Weather was good, in the low 50s. My wife said it was 37 at home. Sometimes things work out.

Boston, MA 7:00 am A perfect morning for a run along the Charles River. Weather was crisp, about 45 degrees with no wind. The water was glassy with a few rowers out there. Legs felt good, not perfect, but good enough. Pushed the pace and ended up at 7:43 mpm. Now I don't want to go to work.

| | Boston, MA 7:30 am Weather was still nice this morning. The storm is supposed to roll in tonight, so we'll see how the run goes tomorrow morning. I didn't sleep well last night, but was able to put in a decent run anyway. 7:49 was my average pace.

Boston, MA 9:45 am Well, the great weather ended last night, but the rain stopped by the time I went out running this morning. I've been feeling more and more tired as the week has worn on, so I slept in and didn't push myself too hard on the run. The wind was kind of bad too, but I went through Cambridge and back along the river. Average pace: 7:58.

Boston, MA 8:45 am I was going to run 12 miles this morning, just to get my weekly mileage up to 50. But I got up too late to do that and the other things I wanted to do today. And I reminded myself that I'm the only one who would care or know and on Monday I'll be back at zero either way.
I ran down Boylston St. and saw the finish line of the Boston Marathon. That was cool. I'd been down that street before, but only at night. Then I found myself in the middle of a campaign rally for Gov. Deval Patrick. I went down the riverway, or watever they call in and then over to Fenway Park. I looped around the stadium and back up Commonwealth Ave. Mall. After the run I cleaned up and went over to the Harvard - Lehigh game and sat in the cold wind watching Harvard blow a lead. Then I went to work.
