AM-8 easy. I was going to do 5 tempo miles, but my left quad and knee hurt (I guessing it was from the 13 hour ride back home yesterday.) I then decided to run 12 miles easy, but I just wasn't motivated, especially from my bad race on Saturday. I couldn't get moving, and it just ended up being a terrible run, so I decided I would run 8 this morning, and possibly more tonight.
After my run I ate breakfast and drank a lot of water. I decided to weigh myself after and was 114, which is lightest I've been since the start of freshman year. I think the reason I didn't feel too good today was the lack of nutrients and water. PM- 4 miles at 5:41 pace. My goal was to just be a little under 5:45 pace and try to see how my body felt after. My legs could feel today and Saturday's runs in them, but they weren't terribly sore, and I feel like I didn't push it too hard. .5 cool down | Add Comment |
| | My goal was 5 miles at 5:48 pace, and just to see how I felt. I went a bit faster the first 2 miles, and was just hurting, so I cut it short to 4 miles and finished in 22:40. After my legs were just beat, so I slowly ran back to where I started. | Add Comment |

XC- We did a hill repeat loop which has 1 long steep hill, and 1 not so long, steep trail hill. I pushed the first loop, but my legs were just dead, so I just tried to push a few of the guys there and not push myself too hard. I would get out in front of them on the recovery, and have them try and catch me on the hills. 4 loops.
Later 1 mile with my little brother. He ran it in 8:45.

5 mile tempo with 1 mile cool down. 5:28-29 AP. Happy to finally get a workout in that was close to where I needed to be. I'll post splits later.

| | A little under 7 with the team at easy pace, and then 1.5 when I got home. I walked some of it when I got home so I'll just count it as 8. During the 1.5 I did a mile pick up, and started slow, and slowly picked it up during the run to finish with a 5:57 mile. | Add Comment |
| | Yesterday I went with my little brother on the 11-year old scout camp. When I went on my scout camps we ate well, and it was all pretty healthy. Not this one. The camp didn't send an e-mail to a few of the leaders telling them that they had changed plans, and wouldn't be feeding the scouts, so when we got there a bunch of things happened, and it all led up to me eating very poorly. This wasn't very good for my run. During my first mile my stomach just felt very full. After that I would speed up if my body was feeling okay, and slow down if it wasn't. I think I'm getting a bit burned out also, so I think I met take next week easy to mentally and physically get back into the swing of things.
