Was feeling sicker than a dog last week, plus my little leg injury so I took some time off. Got out today and felt okay, although ran faster than usually. My leg is still feeling it a bit, hopefully a few more days of light running will do it.

Occassionally we have to stop the formation and let the stragglers catch up. Sometimes I remember to stop my watch, and sometimes I forget so we are usually running faster than what these times show. The route we take is pretty hilly as well which is nice. I like the soldiers training on hills and then running their PT test on a flatter surface.

Interesting run today. So my Infantry Battalion actually falls under a Armored Brigade, and today we did the Armor School run. So that comes out to two Brigades full of Drill Sergeants, some trainees, Armore LTs, some Marines, and just fat tankers!

It was 27 degrees (yes it can get that cold in Georgia) and the Armor Comandant decided we should run in shorts...

I think my heartrate was higher today due to the extreme cold weather. Not exactly sure, or my monitor was running a little high today. Maybe someone else knows?

So I have been battling some tendonitis in the back of the leg/knee. I had to take a few days off to try and get this thing figured out. I am feeling okay, so I think I will run again tomorrow morning.
