I've run off and on (more off than on) throughout my adult life. Most recently I started running in May of 2007.

5K PR: Colder Bolder in December 2009 in 22:50.

10k PR: Bolder Boulder in May 2009 in 48:06.13.

1/2 Marathon PR: Canyonlands Half-Marathon in March 2010 in 1:43:20.

Marathon PR: Newport (Oregon) Marathon in June 2010 in 3:42:17.

I have completed two full marathons.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get back to consistent running.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Sub 3:30 marathon.

Personal:

I grew up in Utah, but live in Colorado now.

I am married and am a working mother of four children, ages 9-19.

Snow day. Church is canceled. I figure we've got about 6 inches at this point and it's still coming down, but relatively slowly. We had to drive Thing 1 to work early this morning and we've got to pick him up in about an hour. Other than that, there's nothing to do but stay in the house and eat. Maybe I'll shovel snow at some point.

They canceled church??? WOW! That only happened ONCE here (2 winters ago) and it was because it was Stake conference. I guess all of our churches are I walking distance--they are on every corner!!

I was a little surprised. I think the issue might be that they didn't have time to get the parking plowed. Everyone drives to church and the church doesn't pay enough to be high on the parking lot plowing hierarchy.

They cancelled our Ward too. Probably because we have a few families coming down from the mountains as our boundaries go all the way up to the Great Divide. We're enjoying a family day at home!

I didn't know they cancelled church and school like that in Colorado.
