Long run.

6:01 am, 23°F, 54% humidity, wind 10 S.

I was up late last night doing some Christmas shopping and then making a treat for today's choir practice and folding laundry. Then I had to drag myself out of bed early this morning to go meet Michelle and Michelle for a run. Like last Saturday, I ran a little over 3 miles to get to Michelle's house and then the three of us ran 9.5 miles together. We were going to do 10 together, but cut it short a little because Michelle and I needed to get ready for choir practice. Then I ran back home on a route that is a little less than a mile and a half. We picked up the pace a little at the end because we were in a hurry. We were all a little tired today, though.

AP: 9:33. Splits: 9:43, 9:23, 9:21, 9:40, 10:14, 10:07, 9:50, 9:42, 9:55, 9:48, 9;37, 9:16, 8:44, 8:26.

The choir practice went well. We spent 2 hours practicing and a couple of the pieces could use a little more work, but oh well. We'll have a practice before church tomorrow, and then do our program and be done with it. It will be a relief to me to get this over with.

Now all the things that I absolutely had to do today are done. I hope I can get a nap this afternoon.

I was a bit tired on the run but it also felt good. Ben says he is feeling a little neglected since I have been gone for the past 5 hours. And now I am blogging instead of helping him, woops. I better go be a good wife and mom. I hope you get your nap.

Men can be so needy ;)

Thom went to run errands after the choir practice, so my time is my own right now except for demands from the kids.

You are one busy lady! I hope you got your nap in.

I'm sure your choir will sound wonderful tomorrow. You've been singing a lot this week.

Great run today.

Hope the choir performance goes well!!! I am assuming it is today, so I may be a little late on wishing you luck!!!

Nice run, nice weather, nice friends. PERFECT!

Okay, I just finished book 2, now she better hurry with book 3 (the release date is next August)!! Those books need to be made into a movie, don't you think??? But just one movie, I would hate to have to wait for the follow ups.

Oh, I checked out her other series (The Underland Chronicles). It won a ton of awards, so I hope the books are as good. I have the first two, there are 5.

Kelli, I think I read somewhere that she's already sold the rights to a Hunger Games movie.
