I picked the right morning to sleep in and skip my run. We have a light dusting of freshly fallen snow, but the real issue is the temperatures. It was 4°F when I got up this morning.

You know my life is crazy when I can get up at 6:30 and that's sleeping in for 2 hours. But alas, I cannot sleep later than that because the kids have to be fed and gotten off to school and I've got work to do.

I was wondering what your temp. was this morning. We were much colder today then yesterday so I figured you would be too. I'm glad you got to sleep in a bit... enjoy your day off of running.

Glad you decided to take a day off. Enjoy it. Hopefully it'll be warmer tomorrow.

Yikes...4 degrees? That's brutal. You're right about picking a good day to sleep in.

Enjoy your day :-)

you are VERY smart! 4 degrees would turn you into a Carolyn-pop before you could even start!

You're such a good mom to get up and get the kids out...even now my kids get their own cereal, because I hate to wake up a moment earlier than absolutely needed :)

The only one I really help is the 7 year old girl. The boys have to get themselves up and feed and dress themselves. Although I did drive the 17-year-old and his string bass to school this morning.
