Fartlek Run. 8 miles easy w/8 x 50 sec. @ 10K-3K pace. Average pace: 9:13.

58°F, 60% humidity, wind 6 SSE.

I did the County Line Road loop as I've done on Tuesdays for the last few weeks. I ran 5 miles easy (10:13, 9:38, 9:21, 9:15, 9:30) and then started the fartlek portion. Paces for the fartlek intervals were 6:52, 6:51, 7:22, 7:22, 7:15, 6:58, 6:51, 6:16. I'm not sure why I slowed down in the middle, but I intentionally picked it up on the last one.

One year ago today was the beginning of the first week that I ran 6 days/week. With a few exceptions for injury, travel, or racing, I've run 6 days/week every week since then.

I'm so impressed with your dedication. Six days a week is hard, I usually cross-train and keep moving days I don't run, but getting up like you do and running every morning?!? Sheer commitment girl! Oh, and rockin' nice paces this morning!!!

Wow, what a nice milestone! Nice run; fartlek is crazy fun, isn't it?

I do kind of enjoy the fartlek runs, auntieem. The time goes by faster when you're focused on something like that.

You are such an amazing runner. I need to be more like my evil twin ;) GREAT work out. CONGRATULATIONS with the consistent running. You are really showing the fruits of your labors.

Are you going to run Ogden? DId you get the email about the early registration?

Marion, Yes, I got the email about early registration for Ogden. I was a little confused by it. Do you need to go to their booth at the whatever thing to register? Actually, it doesn't really matter because, while I had lots of fun last year and would love to run Ogden again, I'm thinking about doing a different marathon in the Spring - one that I can get Snoqualmie to run with me.

Your constant consistency has been a constant inspiration in my own efforts to be consistent. Nice job.

I do think you have to go there to register :( I really liked Ogden too, but am not sure what I am going to do next year.
