Easy run.

I guess I've really worn myself out this week. I was slow this morning. I hope my taking it slow and easy today gets me rested up enough for tomorrow. I'm doing a virtual mile race with Tracy tomorrow morning.

It's gonna be totally awesome! I'm hoping I get 1st in my age division!

:)

And I hope you're not too tired...If you are, we'll have to race again in the next few weeks!

From Carolyn in Colorado on Fri, Nov 20, 2009 at 09:38:20 from 24.8.167.243

I think we can both get first in our age divisions. How old are you? I'm 40.

From Tracy on Fri, Nov 20, 2009 at 09:41:32 from 209.175.177.37

I know. That's the joke. Sorry such a bad one. I'm 31, so I'll capture the 30-39 group.

I'm curious what a virtual mile race is. How does that work?

From Metcalf Running on Fri, Nov 20, 2009 at 12:49:09 from 207.225.192.66

Nice recovery run... Have a great time tomorrow!

From Carolyn in Colorado on Fri, Nov 20, 2009 at 12:55:43 from 24.8.167.243

We're just both going to run 4 laps on a track (almost a mile but not quite) tomorrow morning and time ourselves and then compare our times. We were both just curious about how fast we could run a mile. Anyone who wants to join us is welcome.

From Tracy on Fri, Nov 20, 2009 at 13:07:51 from 209.175.177.37

But if you want to join us, make sure you are not between the ages of 30 and 39. Ha ha ha.

Have fun tomorrow! Now that I have internet again I will be able to check out the blog to see how you did!

From Nan Kennard on Fri, Nov 20, 2009 at 21:57:03 from 174.51.250.151

Love the virtual mile idea! Enter me in the 20-29 age group. My mile will have to be on the trails though since I'll be doing tempo work in Boulder tomorrow.

From Carolyn in Colorado on Fri, Nov 20, 2009 at 22:32:33 from 24.8.167.243

OK, Nan. Let us know the time of your fastest mile tomorrow. I'm sure you'll put us all to shame, even if we only do 1600 meters and you do a full mile.
