Standard six on autopilot.

6:25 am, 41°F, 22% humidity, wind 5 SSE.

I really didn't feel like running when I got up this morning, but I made myself get out and do it anyway. It was an unremarkable run, so I'll quit trying to remark about it, except for the stats.

AP: 9:48. Splits: 10:23, 9:58, 9:48, 9:42, 9:38, 9:18.

I have to go to work today, at least for a while. My husband and oldest son have been out shopping since very early this morning.

I finished reading the curious incident of the dog in the night-time yesterday. It was a very interesting book. The first person narrator says at the beginning of the book that he is 15 years, 3 months, and 3 days old. Yesterday, while I was reading the book, my second son, who shares a few characteristics to a mild degree with the first person narrator, was 15 years, 3 months, and 5 days old.

Happy late thanksgiving :) Did you have a nice one? I am laying in bed, trying to get myself out in the 28 degrees to get my run in. You are a good girl :)

Wow, boys shopping at dawn. Cool. I HATE shopping. My poor family :(

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! I noticed that some of the stores at the mall here are open at 6am.

That's a pretty funny coincidence about your son and the book character. My son, whose name is Peter Jackson, LOVES The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. He shares a birthday with Frodo, and the director of the movie is Peter Jackson. These things all mean something, but I don't know what!

Wow, Marion. It sure is colder where you are than it is here today. Maybe we get the cold tomorrow. I did have a nice Thanksgiving. And I don't like shopping, but my husband does. Go figure.

Auntieem, those are some funny coincidences about your soon and the Lord of the Rings.

Nice, for autopilot!

What an interesting thing about the boys. You were good not to go shopping, other than spending the 'night' with the girls and making some good memories, I honestly wish I wouldn't have gone now!

Nice run, love those auto-pilot runs!

Thanks! I have a very fun hill program that I do on the treadmill if your interested. It makes time go by so fast. Let me know if you are interested and ill tell you how to do it.

From Carolyn in Colorado on Fri, Nov 27, 2009 at 21:32:36 from 24.8.167.243

Amy, I don't run on a treadmill very often, just when it's too snowy or icy to run outside. But I'd be interested to hear about your hill workout anyway in case I need it some time. I think I'm in for a snowy winter this year.

I love that book. I had never read anything like it before I picked it up. The sad thing is that the book is unusable in school because of the language. I could probably get away with teaching it to seniors, but I think it's geared toward a little younger audience. I could be wrong.

Good run! I did mine on autopilot too!

From Carolyn in Colorado on Sat, Nov 28, 2009 at 12:35:41 from 24.8.167.243

I agree about the book, Tracy. I would really like to have my 15-year-old read the book, but I'm hesitant because of the language. Do British people really talk like that?
