Moderate run. Average pace: 8:38.

Weather: 37°F, 93% humidity, wind 12 N, light rain.

I came in to work early to host some people who were coming in for job interviews. I made it out for my run at about 10:30, after the interviews were over.

I felt pretty good on this run. I ran a slight variation of the home-work loop that I run sometimes, but I started from work rather than from home. As a result, a little more than the first half was mostly uphill, and the second half was mostly downhill. It was raining, but not very hard.

I'll be doing a similar thing tomorrow because I have to come in early, but for just one interview, so I'll be able to get out for my run earlier. Also, I've got a shorter run. But I also have hill sprints. I've been saying that I should try the hill behind my office for hill sprints. Here's my chance. But it might be snowing tomorrow. Maybe I'll get to use my new yaktrax.

SNOW?! Yuck. I think it's finally supposed to be warming up out here. I can't believe spring is taking this long to come.

Well, good luck with the new hill! And I hope you don't get snow.

Nice run Carolyn! Awesome pace! I really hope it dosn't snow for you tomorrow. It is cloudy today, drizzly and a bit cooler, so I hope it won't be too bad after work.

Good job accomadating the run Carolyn!

I am glad you feel good!

I should send you the yaxtrax-like things that I have .. they are more like spikes (and the snow does not get stuck in them the way they did with my yaxtrax. I love Colorado spring snow ... sorry, I love winter, always have. It was never my "plan" to not have true winters.

From Carolyn in Colorado on Thu, Apr 16, 2009 at 18:08:27 from 198.241.217.15

I think that Sno needs the spikes worse than I do. I haven't even tried the yaktrax yet.

They're saying rain or snow tomorrow depending on the temperature and snow on Saturday, so now I'm more worried about my 20-miler on Saturday than I am about tomorrow's run.

That's a good mid-week run. Good pace too! This weather stinks. Winter might be done with us after this weekend though.

That's an amazing pace for a "moderate" ten mile run. Nice job!
