Easy run. Average pace: 9:48.

Weather: 46°F. The last day of warm weather for a while, apparently. It's supposed to be cold and rainy tomorrow.

I just ran my old standby 4-mile loop today, nothing special to report.

I've got to go to work early tomorrow and Friday in order to escort people who are coming in for job interviews. I would have to get up before Snoqualmie in order to get my runs done and to work on time those days. I'm kind of running behind on sleep, so I decided not to do that. I'll just get up and go in to work early, and then once the interviews are done, I'll go out and run, then shower and go back to work.

Nice run this morning... I think your plan for tomorrow and Friday sounds good. Getting up earlier the Sno would be difficult.

If the weather we are having today is coming your way... get ready!!!! It is a rainy mess, I really hope it lets up a bit before I have to run.

Sno would get up earlier than Sno if she could (to get more miles!), but sleep trumps heroic mileage. Have a great day, Carolyn!

You will be surprised how much better it can feel to run after you are on your feet (and warmed up) for a few hours! But it does take a little "motivation" to get out the door in the middle of the day!

Have a good one Carolyn.

So, you're an escort?!? LOL!

I like running after being up for a few hours, but I also like running first thing in the morning...let's face it, running anytime is great. Have a great day!

Isn't that fun to write "Easy run. Average pace 9:48"? A year from now your average pace for an easy run will probably be in the "8's." Sometimes you don't even realize you're making progress until it sneaks up and bites you.

I predict you'll prefer morning runs after you do Thursday and Friday in the afternoon. Just a guess.
