Crunchy Christmas run.

10:23 am, 25°F, 48% humidity, wind 7 NNE, overcast.

I was up until about 12:45 am last night. I helped my husband assemble the doll house. The kids were instructed that Christmas didn't start until 6 am. They got up about 5:45 and hung out in my room until 6:00.

Here's a picture of the doll house from this morning after it had been moved to my daughter's room and some dolls had moved in:

Also, for your viewing pleasure, here's a picture of the one present that has not been unwrapped and may not be for a long time:

Christmas 002

Now for the run. It was crunchy because I had to run across A LOT of frozen snowplow scrud. I was hoping that we'd get some sun today to melt some of this ice, but it looks like it's not happening.

Here's a list of Christmas presents that accompanied me on my run today:

  • base layer pants and shirt
  • SmartWool socks
  • heart rate monitor
  • Perpetuum Jazille "Africa" album

The album lasted almost exactly the length of my run, so that was cool.

Sounds like some really nice gifts. Sorry you didn't get much sleep but it sounds like it is all worth it and you still managed a nice crunchy run.

Merry Christmas!

I really like the wrapped bar stool. Who took the time to do that? I hope sidewalks clear up soon, I am thinking of heading out. I'm glad you got Annie's doll house all put together. Merry Christmas!

Thom wrapped the stool. Caleb always sits on Thom's bass stool when he plays video games, and Thom doesn't like him to use it and sometimes it's gone to rehearsals or concerts, so we got Caleb his own stool.

Sounds like we had a similar run in the crunchy snowplow crud. Where is that sun?

Cute doll house!

Merry Christmas!

I love that dollhouse! So adorable!

And yeah for running stuff for xmas. I was told I wasn't allowed to ask for running stuff this year. I guess it was getting to boring for the shopper LOL

Sounds like you had a great day, Carolyn! I kind of like that crunchy snow.
