A group of us met at Kearns for a tempo workout. We carpooled up to the road by Copperton. Coach had us do 3 x 2 mile tempos. I made it a mile and a half on the first tempo and had to stop since I had shin splints. I skipped the rest of the tempos and ran a slow pace back to Kearns. Scott told me about the Shepherd's Pie he is going to make for dinner tonight. I asked him where he lived since I may be in the area. He laughed and told me he'd email me the recipe. I get so hungry while I run that food is a popular topic of conversation. I plan on taking it easy next week. My legs are pretty tight and I'm nursing my left knee--I don't want it to be worse before St. George.
