Got up this morning and felt terrible. Decided to go for my workout anyway. Plan was to do 3x3 miles with .6 in between. 1.25 warm up then first splits were 6:13 (down) 6:33 (up and down) 6:18 (down) .6 recovery in 8 minute pace. Next set of splits were 6:27 (down) 6:24 (down) 6:51 (rolling) felt terrible on the 2nd set so I decided to call it a day. Ran a couple miles back home. (Running these miles slowly was painful) got home and did basically nothing the rest of the day. Felt sick to my stomach all day and couldn't eat anything. So weird! (I think it was a mild case of the flu) workout definitely didn't go as planned but the effort was there! |
