I always said that I wasn't a runner, however this year I have come to LOVE to run!  Now it's an addiction!

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

I have finally decided to run a half marathon, however, it falls on the same Sunday as our primary program. Do you think I could make it to church on time??

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be healthy and active.

Personal:

Married for 7 years to an amazing husband who suppports me in all my crazy activities even while going to grad school and is crazy busy himself! Two beautiful kiddo's 5 and 3!

I only had time for one and a half today, but it felt so good! For the first time (well other than the time I ran with Merri and I was dying) I was able to run fast and not feel like I was going to puke :) I was proud because I am really comfortable at a 10:00 min pace but today I ran an 8:20 mile which was way good for me! And I felt great!

 

Ha, ha, burt..you have NO idea!   BTW are you from SF? or just stalk the girls from SF?  I know you don't live there now but just wondering.

oh yeah! It must be that the heat has calmed down a bit but I feel like I can run faster and not pass out :) I know my distance is SHORT but my speed has improved a lot :)  Plus I got a new running partner....Dan decided I am cooler than his guy friends and wants to workout with me..

lunges-I could only do 50 today, I took too long of a break :(

I am so happy I shaved a 30 secs off my "really comfortable" speed!  Thanks everyone for telling me how to do speed work. I know it sounds self explainitory but I didn't know what it was :)
