Easy family run with Heather and Jack. We did a nice loop through the University, to 900 South and back through the U to home. Heather kept a nice pace the whole way, her fitness is continuing to improve. She was pushing it in the last mile as I huffed along with the baby jogger.

Out the door at 5:40 with a plan to meet up with the group running the HCI (med school) loop from 15th/15th at 6am.  I had to make a stop at the Top Stop and missed them at the point I planned to run into them. So I played catch up once I saw they had crossed Foothill and eventually met up with them. I ran about 5 miles with them before turning from 900 South toward Guardsman to run home. Got to hear about Casey's trip to Paris over Valentines.

This morning I ran from home at 5:40 am over to Red Butte to meet up with the Black Sheep for the hill workout.  It was brutal.  We did three loops of a circuit that included four different hills, each with its own special flavor of punishment.  Short recoveries between each effort.  Then a cooldown around Fort Douglas, then I ran home.

This morning I ran from home out to Sugarhouse Park, return through the Country Club neighborhood, north to Foothill and through the U. It was slow, 1:29.

Radda run.  There was some new snow on the ground this morning, but nothing too serious, and not enough to keep me from driving to Holladay at 5:30am.  I ran 1.3 on my own and then met up with the group at 6am. We did the 'gas station' loop, as opposed to the canal loop.  Not a very sexy name, but the name reflects the fact that we diverge from Holladay blvd. at a Sinclair gas station and hang a right. Lisa M and I included three spicy miles.  They were uphill and not terribly fast, but the effort felt right. I don't have my splits--but I was running 5:50's on the flats, 6:30-6:45 on the long uphill Casto section.

34 degrees this morning, which was great, but pretty much means snow is on the way.  I ran the St. Mary's Bonneville Golf Course loop, which works out to exactly 11 miles on the Garmin.  I ran into John Straley on 4th Ave on my way home and we ran together until I got to my house.  Tonight I'm planning to drive up to the cabin at Bear Lake.  I don't know what kind of run I will be able to get in tomorrow morning before skiing--I'm hoping for five miles or so.

Up at the cabin at Bear Lake.  Very little time to run before going skiing. I'm amazed at the snow on the roadside, up to 7 foot drifts in places from all the snow removal. Quite different from when we were up here over new years.
