Oh sweet! So do you go on groomed trails like that or just out in the powder? Or can you even do it on ungroomed trails? It looks fun and seem like you could cover some ground fairly fast if you were in shape for it.
Yeah, one big limitation is you can basically only do it on a groomed surface. It is fun--people that know what they're doing (not me, I'm a beginner) and are in good shape can easily cover a lot of ground. Although the flats and downhills go quickly, the hills are just plain cruel. It's a very anaerobic activity overall. But I'm having a good time and getting a little better at it.
