I had to get into work by 7am, which meant no early run.  I brought my running gear to work with me, but since it was raining I decided to run on the treadmill at the gym.  I've had a membership there for a year but I dislike running indoors enough that this is the first time I have gone. So I got in a $120 run on the treadmill.  Good thing its only $10 per month. Running five miles seemed to take an eternity, but it was actually like 37 minutes.

I'm starting to become numb to the monotony of the treadmill. Running something structured seems to help.

I find it easiest to run on the treadmill if a good football game is on tv (i.e. Monday nights). Second best is Seinfeld.
