An actual run this morning! It was raining when I woke up but had stopped by the time I hit the pavement.  I thought I might be overdressed, but it turned out fine.  I ran the Bonneville Golf Course loop and had a nice run overall.  I suppose it would have been nice to run with the Black Sheep, but I woke up too late!

Glad to hear that lower abdominal thing isn't an issue.

Uh, was I hallucinating, or was that your visage I saw on an ad for a PBS station...on the back of a UTA bus?

From Chad on Tue, Nov 11, 2008 at 16:09:10

JD--the jury is still out on the abdominal pain, but today was OK.

I haven't seen the bus thing yet ... but that's pretty random, huh?

Are you doing the Striders Winter Racing Series again this year?

From Chad on Wed, Nov 12, 2008 at 10:43:32

Jon--I'm 50/50 on Striders. I'm still in the mode where it will take me another month at least to convince myself it is possible to train hard. How about you?

From Jon on Wed, Nov 12, 2008 at 10:58:39

Yeah, I'm doing them. I loved the first 3 races. I'm still in slacker mode for another month, then I'll start doing a bit more mileage. But I don't think I'll be doing any Big Workouts before next year.
