It was difficult to find the time to blog everyday, so I have been blogging just once a week.

Monday- run 5k, slow. alone. peaceful

    Tuesday -swim, walk 5k

    Wednesday -run 7.5k good pace

    Thursday -swim, bike 10k

Friday- Bike 10k . Slow, with kids

Saturday - Panther Run 5k. It was pouring rain, but my son still said he wanted to go. My goal was to run along with him and encourage him to finish. Because of the heavy rain, he was the only kid that showed up.  I think he was a little sad that his friends we invited didn't show up. But then, at kilo 2.5, we saw the 3 kids, and their mother, standing on the side of the road, under their umbrellas, cheering him on. It was so nice. I talked the 3 boys into joining us for the rest of the 5k run. The boys ran along together giggling and occasionally stopping to look at random items floating down the gutter,  but they made it to the finish line. I think they will join us again next run.

What an awesome race! I'm glad he was there to inspire the other boys to RUN. Rain doesn't make us melt - it's okay to run in the rain :) especially when it's not cold rain - you can't make me believe it was cold, 80 degrees isn't cold!

I am proud of your big guy. #1 for showing up to run and being the only kid there. (I guess it's one way to place in AG). #2 for taking the time to see what was floating in the gutter. That's just as important as running!!
