Wrong choice, Ben. I thought I'd be a little tired from Saturday, but tonight's run felt great. Last week I upped my normal pace by about 30 seconds, and I'm thinking about doing it again after this week (but that would still be pretty slow). I did the last half mile tonight at 6:31 and it was very satisfying. Eric's parents sent us some vanilla Joe-Joe's (sandwich cookies from Trader Joe's) for Valentine's day and now I can't stop thinking about the Joe-Joe's we had over Christmas. They were amazing - like if an Oreo and a Thin Mint had a way cuter baby. After the gym I was craving pecans but I couldn't find any snack versions at the store. And I hate almonds, and macadamia nuts have a crazy amount of fat. So I got yogurt and soy milk. Probably I really just wanted protein.
