8 miles steady. I heard someone call this type of run an "aerobic builder," and I like that phrase. I ran about 1 mile very easy, then dropped to ~6:30 pace through 4 miles, then 3 miles in 6:04, 5:54, 6:00. Final mile included 4 x strides. Avg pace = 6:28.

The humidity was about as high as it gets this morning. The 3 miles at 6:00 pace were a little out of my comfort zone thanks to the heat, but overall this was a nice stimulus.

12 moderate. 7:50 opening mile and 6:51 overall avg. Got a sprinkling of rain in the middle that kept me cool. Skipped strides since my legs are a little sore from lifting and I don't want to add too many stressors all at once.
