10 miles with Rylie. I want to say easy pace, but it was the first truly hot day of the year (89 degrees and 80% humidity) and I struggled and Rylie complained. The scale says I lost 6 pounds of water. I remember again why I fell of the wagon last October. I like to pretend it was so I could be around more before Rylie's birth, but in reality I had been beat down by the head & humidity so badly that each run was difficult to face and I finally petered out.
The idea of training all summer through this makes me want to get fat and sit around reminiscing about the times I was in shape. I think the only thing to do is start getting up at 4:00 so I can run before work. I won't survive evening training.
