4 hills again.  I was going good, feeling great, when some not very nice person decided to use the round about as a freaking acceleration ramp and also decided NOT to yeild to the pedestrian in the designated crossing area and almost killed me.  I literally stopped in time before this meany black car (without headlights on) went flighing in front of me.  I was looking both ways.  I did NOT see him.  I did see another guy coming, but he was slowing down, allowing me to pass.  I don't know how I could make myself more visiable.  I was wearing a flashing light, reflective vest.  goodness!  I was so mad.... and then so sick from the whole event, I decided I better get home and give my husband a big hug before I do anything stupid again.  *sigh*

Sorry to hear about that Camille. Unfortunately, jerks is something we will always bump into...

But don't let that put you down.

Reckless drivers not paying attention just make my blood boil! I'm glad you were not hurt! Good job on your run.

Have you stopped to consider that wearing a vest and flashing lights may attract cars?

I hate stupid drivers. There should be some kind of a rule...

Don your Christmas tree suit and go out for a run! Or at least update your blog.
