Today I did 4 hills and averaged a 9:14 min/mil.  I'm pretty happy with that.  I'm sad with my mileage for the week, but it's too late to worry about that. And I spent time with Melanie.

Here are some pictures of the yummy things Melanie and I made this weekend.  My neighbors have been loving me. :o)

You are an amazing cook and your food always looks so PRETTY--cookbook perfect. Perhaps baking is your calling!

Is there a house for sale by you??? :D

From Camille on Sun, Apr 19, 2009 at 10:46:01 from 71.223.66.14

thanks guys. I told Brandon, in my next life (post engineering life) I'm going to be a baker... so now I'm just practicing. :o)

Marion, ironically, the house to our left is for sale. Come on over. LOL

Man alive Camille!! Those pics look so so so so so good. Really stinks that today I started the no junk food rule! I need to only put stuff in my body that will help me heal ... hmmm ... those pics actually look really healing!! I need to reconsider things!! :)

Yum yum yum! Man, I'm coming over tonight. Your blog has me drooling all over my keyboard.

PS that is very speedy for hill work!

Teena - you made me laugh out loud. Personally, I think chocolate is a healing food.

Lybi - Unfortunately, there is nothing left here but muffins to show for my weekend of baking. I gave everything away.

Is it not enough that I have to see those things on facebook! They look so good.

Do you want to come visit Utah for a week? you can stay with me and teach me to bake all day. We would have so much fun!

From Camille on Mon, Apr 20, 2009 at 21:59:47 from 71.223.66.14

We are going to Utah in July this summer. Do you live near park city by chance?

From Kelli on Mon, Apr 20, 2009 at 22:37:27 from 71.219.84.84

I would say that Park City is about a 30-40 minute drive, it is close. What are you coming here for?

From Kelli on Mon, Apr 20, 2009 at 22:46:33 from 71.219.84.84

What are those things on the yellow plate?

From Camille on Tue, Apr 21, 2009 at 00:28:45 from 71.223.66.14

Family reunion. My mom's family is all spread out over the west part of the US, and Utah seems to be in the middle. We are camping... okay, maybe not so much Brandon and I, but some of the family members are camping. We decided lugging that much stuff across 2 states was a bit much. I can't remember the days, but I'll tell you when.

On the yellow plate it's layered coconut-chocolate chip bars. Real easy. want the recipe? Honestly, there is hardly any dirty dishes or measuring.

From Kelli on Tue, Apr 21, 2009 at 09:25:15 from 71.219.75.228

I kept your church website and i will look ALL of the recipes up. That one just looks SO GOOD!!! It is the coconut and chocolate combination.

A family reunion sounds fun. I wonder where you are camping? Park City is really quire close, i will come and crash your reunion. If your entire family cooks like you, I will stay the entire time and eat!

From Camille on Tue, Apr 21, 2009 at 10:07:30 from 75.171.1.193

Well... see, I was thinking that you might be my escape. I love my mom's family, but they aren't very nice to eachother. everyone is mean and rude and tries to put everyone else down. This is part of the reason that the reunion isn't at anyone's house. And it is definitely the reason that we haven't had a reunion in 10+ years. We have visited different family members here and there, but not got everyone together. There is actually a poll going on our family website on who will be the first one to get mad and leave. It's very sad. You don't want to come, but I may need an "easy button" to get me out of there. LOL

From Kelli on Tue, Apr 21, 2009 at 10:11:21 from 71.219.75.228

I will be your EASY BUTTON! I will come and get you and we can go shop the outlet mall in Park City and have a wonderful lunch. if it gets too bad, you can come sleep in my playroom on a blow up mattress or in the family room on the fold out bed or I can kick the boys out of their room and you can sleep in the bunk bed!

From Camille on Tue, Apr 21, 2009 at 10:27:58 from 75.171.1.193

you are too sweet! You don't need to kick your boys out. that's actually why we planned to stay at a hotel... separation (especially at night) is a good thing
