My ankle has been relatively pain-free since Thursday, and I'm ready to start running again tomorrow. It's been a good week, and I'm happy that I didn't have to worry about getting some runs in, because I stayed up way too late (saw Quantam of Solace at midnight and signed up for classes at midnight another day). Looking forward to this week though. One more week before thanksgiving break. Oh, and there is a Turkey Trot at school on Thursday, but I don't know how I feel about trying to run a race so soon. My weight training instructor really wants me to, but I doubt I can even keep up a sub-6:30 pace for a 5k. Crappy eh?
Goal now is to hit 50 miles per week before finals, December 15-19. Then start a serious speed training phase. This week: 30 minutes on Monday 30 minutes on Tuesday 30 minutes on Wednesday 45 minutes on Thursday 60 minutes on Friday 60-90 minutes on Saturday How's that for slowly building up?
