I love to run because it involves only me and it challenges me.  It helps me feel good about myself.

Went out with some friends this morning for a run.  I was not feeling motivates at all!!  No one was!!  We decided to run some hills today.  We ran for about a mile and then ran up and down the "hill" twice.  We are planning on doing that every Wednesday and increasing how many times we run the "hill".  Once we feel good about that we will move on to "THE HILL".  It is a stretch or road that is a continuously steep hill.  I have run it a few times but want to do it faster.  I'm not sure but I think it is about 2miles long.  I need to start setting some goals that will help me see improvement.  I have gotten faster but want to get stronger.

Over all it was a good morning.

Hi Callie. Why don't you just east some spinach?

Wednesday hills sounds wonderful! That is great idea! Hills is speedwork in disguise. It makes you a stronger runner with less injury risk!

Not motivated, but hills???? OK, that is tough.

Smooth~ I am hoping for both faster and no injuries. If you have any other advice about speed work I would love to hear it. I don't do it but REALLY need to.

Kelli ~ Your sweet..It was a pretty small hill, but I guess ya have to start some where, right.

Burt~ I'm not quite sure how to east spinach :) could you show me how? LOL

I send you a youtube video of Kelli eating spinach. I have hidden cameras set up all over her house.

This is how I eat spinach---throw it in the blender with some yogurt, a banana, some blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, lots of berries. It is good stuff. ;o)
