Personal:

I have been married for almost 14 years to the best man in the whole world.  I have 5 awesome kids and am trying to "find joy in every journey."

I love to run because it involves only me and it challenges me.  It helps me feel good about myself.

Pool running: 42 min 4.2 miles

I didn't do the 5 min warm up.  I was to slow getting in and yes the pool was COLD today. I got in and didn't want Toby ti have to wait for me so we got started right away.

1 min hard (1 min rest)

2 min hard (1 min rest)

3 min hard (1min rest)

4 min hard (1min rest)

5 min hard (1min rest)

Than repeated 4, 3, 2, 1

4 min hard

5 min cool down

We rocked today and it felt good.  I am really enjoying pool running.  I think it has something to do with the company I'm with. :)  We talked about the races we were going to run this summer.  I am so excited to get back running.  I still have a ways to go, but I am having a lot of fun!

I am planning on getting my new shoes soon.  I usually get them for my b-day and that is next month.  I love getting new shoes!  I always take so much time looking at all the shoes and trying them on and I always end up getting the same kind I always get.  I think it is just fun to look.

I always go for pink (but they never have it in my favorite shoe, dang it!)

Great job in the pool, glad you two ladies are having a good time! Did you decide on a fall marathon?

Kelli- I think we are going to go for St. George. of course it depends on e getting in and if we can find a place to stay. Are you going to run any other marathon's besides Boston?

GOOD JOB on the pool running. You and Toby are having so much fun and progressing along nicely!

I always stockpile my shoes when I find them on sale. I currently have 2 new pairs of the same model in the closet. I don't like shopping (grocery, clothes, etc.)...but I LOVE browsing in a running store!

We will run St George as well (I try to get in with the lottery, if not my husbands work gets me in with him). It is my favorite marathon! I will keep my fingers crossed that you two get in, it is a fabulous race. Only 2 marathons a year for me, though, that is all I can handle!

It's great that you've got someone to go pool running with. It makes the situation better for both of you.
