Personal:

I have been married for almost 14 years to the best man in the whole world.  I have 5 awesome kids and am trying to "find joy in every journey."

I love to run because it involves only me and it challenges me.  It helps me feel good about myself.

Did 55 min of abs, buns, and thighs class which kicked my butt!!!  It was hard today.

Ran 3.48 miles with an average pace of 10:06 minutes a mile.  I was pleased with how fast I was going.  I think I better double check the calibration, that seems a little too fast for me.

I got my sensor to work and it was really fun to have all that info.  I can go online and keep track of my workout and have it graph my progress.  It will be fun to watch.

My shin is a little sore today.  That just makes me mad!!

We have ward tempel night tonight and I am worried I am going to fall asleep!  I can't take a little nap this afternoon because i am taking the kids to the pool.  A full day, I might have to drink a coke before I go!  Maybe bring to candy to suck on so I don't fall asleep. :)

Callie J! Sorry about the sore shin. But nice workout.

GREAT workouts! SWEET data feedback on your run!

I ALWAYS fall asleep in the temple during the *movie*. Doesn't everybody? :)

From Burt on Tue, Jul 20, 2010 at 13:29:00 from 206.19.214.144

Let me call you both to repentance (since I'm perfect, and I can.)

Smooth - if you fall asleep, you just denied the sister you did the proxy work for of all the blessings she would have otherwise received and therefore must do it over.

Callie - If you drink a coke before you go to the temple, you really shouldn't be going in. Remember your temple interview and your covenants.

From Smooth on Tue, Jul 20, 2010 at 13:46:40 from 174.23.218.43

Burt ~ Absolutely! There's beauty in repetitions. I am certain the proxy works I do were already done numerous times previously. :)

Callie ~ NO worries! I am 100% sure the interview questions do not involve drinking coke! I think Burt (who is perfect) has a different set of covenants than the imperfect people.

Maybe that was a question I threw in there when I was in the bishopric. I'm allowed to do that, right?

From Carolyn in Colorado on Tue, Jul 20, 2010 at 20:38:18 from 24.8.167.243

Come on, Burt. The seats are soft, it's quiet, they turn out the lights, and play soft music. What do you expect?

From Burt on Tue, Jul 20, 2010 at 21:03:48 from 206.19.214.144

I expect you not to give away so much of the ceremony. REPENT!!

From Kelli on Tue, Jul 20, 2010 at 23:33:56 from 71.219.99.30

I pinch myself to stay awake. Seriously, I think we should get FREQUENT FLIER cards and after we have been a certain amount of times we get to go to speed version, skipping the movie altogether. Don't ya think???

I have to say, I have never fallen asleep, but Scott has! I think the chairs are way too uncomfortable, I must be going to the wrong temple!

Hope the night went well! And i am sure the calibration was ON, you just ran faster today and it felt good!

Burt you are a funny man! You will be glad to know Burt, that I did not drink my coke before hand. :) I can't get away with too much stuff because my hubby is a counselor in the bishopric. He is always watching HA HA!

I made it through and only got a little sleepy. :)

From Kelli on Wed, Jul 21, 2010 at 00:06:29 from 71.219.99.30

Are you sure he is watching? In my experience, all the counselors do during meetings is sleep!

From Burt on Wed, Jul 21, 2010 at 00:11:47 from 68.225.214.248

You didn't? Now I feel bad for calling the temple president.

From Burt on Wed, Jul 21, 2010 at 00:13:46 from 68.225.214.248

Kelli - I fear for your everlasting salvation. I shall put your name on the prayer role tomorrow.

From Kelli on Wed, Jul 21, 2010 at 21:34:18 from 71.219.99.30

Thanks Burt. Maybe if I can get my name on every temple prayer roll I will be saved. You did not like my frequent flier idea??? Come on, you know you do!

From Toby on Wed, Jul 21, 2010 at 23:06:09 from 216.194.124.37

I think COKE is in our family name somewhere - I certainly can't go a day without it :)

From Burt on Wed, Jul 21, 2010 at 23:32:02 from 206.19.214.144

Well,Kelli, if you're like me, you learn something new every time you watch it. EVERY TIME! And I've seen it over 100,000 times.

From Kelli on Thu, Jul 22, 2010 at 10:37:59 from 71.219.99.30

Hmmmm.....maybe I am sleeping after all!
