I'm hurtin' for certain or my name isn't Burton.  You know, just once I would like to get an injury that keeps me from running that is actually running related!  I immediately regret saying that.

Hi Burt - If you are speaking about the back, it does not sound like an injury that could drag out for months. Hope you're getting around okay and recover quickly.

From SlowJoe on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 10:45:46 from 132.3.53.68

They sell effective hemorrhoid cream over the counter, not sure what you're worried about.

From seeaprilrun on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 11:50:03 from 174.70.177.86

Sorry to hear about your back. :( Hopefully a little rest and drugs takes care of it. I know a few places in Wichita where you can get good stuff.

From Burt on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 12:32:10 from 72.223.91.148

PRE - The back thing comes and goes. It's actually starting to feel better. I'm optimistic.

Joe - I just take a pair of scissors to my hemorrhoids.

April - Sounds good. Tell them I'll pay them next week.

Rest and drugs...the miracle cure. hope you heal up soon!

From AZDesertmonsoon on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 12:44:53 from 204.17.31.126

go get some muscle relaxants if you haven't already. Hope you are back at it soon.

From DaleG on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 14:24:58 from 71.199.57.238

Burt...I've been out of the loop for too long. How did you hurt your back? I hurt mine on the way to Disneyland a few weeks ago and it's barely starting to feel better.

By the way, remind of the diagnosis I gave you about your ears. I forget very easily.

From DaleG on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 14:25:43 from 71.199.57.238

Also, where's Lily? I tried to get on her blog, but now it's gone.

From RAD on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 14:31:56 from 76.27.16.189

Take a seat, put up your feet and entertain us! You know we'd never leave you even if you can't run :)

From Burt on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 15:03:32 from 206.19.214.144

Seth! That was the most blasphemous thing I've heard in an hour!

AZDM - Will Sonoran hot dogs be a good substitute for muscle relaxants?

Dale - Sunday I went to get the dogs some water and I bent at my knees, then right before I went to lift, my lower back just had a spasm or something. Ouchie. The ear thing, I had them flushed. It was so nasty. I don't want to talk about it. The Lily thing. She set her blog to private. She talked about it for so long, but nobody thought she'd actually do it.

RAD - When I can't run, I always have Microsoft Paint. Hide your pictures!

From RAD on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 15:07:10 from 76.27.16.189

you and your microsoft paint don't scare me! (I wouldn't even think of posting any of the 'bad' pictures for the public anyway. Now, if you could access my hard drive and see some of the 'fat' pictures...then I'd be scared! :)).

From Burt on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 17:09:44 from 206.19.214.144

I'm very happy to hear you say that RAD.

From DaleG on Thu, Sep 01, 2011 at 17:22:43 from 184.224.242.1

I'm not even sure I want to know how ears get flushed out. Yikes. As for Lily, I remember her mentioning going private once, but didn't think she would.

From flatlander on Fri, Sep 02, 2011 at 22:46:45 from 76.31.26.153

Really sorry about your back, but I agree it doesn't sound long term. Hope you are feeling better.
