Burt Dude that sounds good to me, base running, these are the weeks I love doing high mileage without the nasty sessions....

From Eric Day on Tue, May 26, 2009 at 19:27:13 from 200.77.41.23

Nice start this week Burt!

You are on a roll.

From Kelli on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 15:21:54 from 71.219.85.34

NONE??? When are you gonna schedule that marathon?

From Burt on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 16:50:23 from 68.76.197.194

I'll schedule a marathon when I'm confident I can qualify for Boston. That might be in a few years. I have to run 7:26's to qualify. My pace for a 5k is 7:11's, and for a 10k is 7:49's. I'm no where near.

From Kelli on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 18:06:32 from 71.219.85.34

I think you are mistaken on that one! You have to at least run one marathon just to feel it, even if your time is not where you want it to be. Marathons are monsters and you have to slowly tame them. But, heck, that is just me. Do what you want (BUT I do think you would do better than you think!)

Burt, Kelli is giving you good & free advice. You should take it!

From Burt on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 18:56:28 from 68.76.197.194

Well, if she'll give me free registration into the marathon of my choice, I'll take that, too.

From Kelli on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 19:02:50 from 71.219.85.34

Hmmm....you can come run the RHPC full marathon for free. We will MAKE the race just for you!

From Teena on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 23:53:01 from 67.177.20.13

You just want to be one of those super cool guys who say that the BQ'd on their first try!!! :)

Hope you had a great day!! :)

From Burt on Thu, May 28, 2009 at 00:17:04 from 98.167.151.26

Oh Teena. I have done a marathon. So, should I qualify on my next one, I will be one of the cool people to say that I PR'd by more than two hours!
