So, I stayed home from work yesterday because I was sick. Maybe I'm getting pneumonia or something. I also have been trying to lose weight for the whole month of January by being on a diet. I lost about 7 lbs., but it seems like it's not coming off as fast as it used to. I think I'm going through "the change." So I mentioned to my wife that I should maybe use some fat burners. She got me a bottle of Hydroxycut. The bad thing is, it says that one pill has the same amount of caffeine as two cups of coffee. You're looking at a guy who maybe drinks a Barq's Root Beer once every two years. But I took the recommended dosage yesterday; one pill at 6:15am, one pill at 11:30 am, and one pill at 5:30pm. I was up until 4am this morning! I think it was a combination of the caffeine and being sick. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

| | FAIL. So Tuesday I went to the doctor to find out why I've been sick for a month now. I was diagnosed with allergies. Allergies? Hmm, I guess that means I can run. Nope. I got a mile and a quarter in and had to stop. I couldn't catch my breath. So I walk/jogged the rest of the way home. I now know that I have bronchitis. So I'm on a low grade steroid, antibiotics, and cough syrup. I think I'm feeling better. At least sleeping's not such a chore. (Writing this of Feb. 18th)
