We got some rain off and on yesterday.  There were mud puddles here and there.  I was so tempted to jump in them.  Wonder why?  Speaking of mud, I had one of those occasions where I had to stop on my run.  There's a Walgreens on the corner that would provide sweet relief.  Alas, they don't open for another two hours.  Well, I could try the Piggly Wiggly across the street.  And by Piggly Wiggly I mean Fry's Food and Drug.  Surely they're open 24 hours a day and twice on Sunday.  I just have to jump this small wall and hope the strength exerted to do so doesn't take away from other muscles straining to maintain digestive equilibrium.  Dare I say my wall leaping abilities are Bruce Lee-like?  Onward to Fry's where undoubtedly nobody would be using the facilities this early in the morning.  What the...???  Come on!!!  I'm going to give myself cancer if I hold it any longer!  Plus I get to put up with this dude's rich aroma.  Forget it.  I'm going to look to see what movies RedBox is offering.  And if anyone cuts in front of me while I'm not in the bathroom, I'm going to plow them into the wall!  For a good time call BLAM!!!  Well, after that delightful experience I felt light as a feather, swift as an ox.  It really was a beautiful morning.  And now I could enjoy it to the fullest.

Running provides so many wonderful stories. You are much braver in sharing yours than I am though. I had a similar experience last week, but mine involved an empty lot with a bush. Luckily it was dark out.

Pam the blam! Nice maneuvering and maintaining skills! :)

how does it relate to mud?

From Burt on Mon, Nov 22, 2010 at 23:33:12 from 72.223.84.236

Love it Rhett! I just hope the bush wasn't poison ivy.

RAD - they call her perfect Pam.

Merri - mud spelled backwards is dum.

I was just thinking I hadn't heard a good poop story on your blog in awhile. My life is now complete after hearing that story. Thank you Burt. Thank you.

Here in Idaho its real easy..... you can drop, squat and do your thing without any disturbances. Lots of ditch banks and yes large trees, though during the winter times its a little bit of a challenge blending into the white landscape.

I'm sure your rich aroma ain't no pic nic either.

From Burt on Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 12:39:58 from 206.19.214.144

Joe - I'm more than just a poo troubadour.

Sam - Had I fallen, I'm sure I would have.

Rye - Aren't you afraid a bear will get you?

Scott - Your parents would know. I left quite the surprise for them in their condo...

It sounds like everything came out OK in the end. I'm glad you're feeling better.
