Today I didn't have time to run a lot for undisclosed reasons.  So I did my three mile loop.  As I was coming up the canal I saw two ducks sleeping on the bank.  I didn't know what they were at first.  When ducks sleep they turn their heads all the way around and rest them on their backs.  I honestly thought they were two chupacabras heads.  Honestly.

Time - 25:05 (avg. pace 8:22)

Splits - 8:24, 8:15, 8:22

From Derunzo on Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 15:02:45 from 64.56.60.130

Chupacabras are beautiful! I picked one up at our local pet store.

From Lily on Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 15:50:47 from 67.199.178.210

Weeeell honestly Burt, you use the word honestly very honestly. And did you see the Wifes club today? :)

From Burt on Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 17:19:52 from 206.19.214.144

CinC - Just some family matters. I wouldn't want to bore you with them.

RT - I'm sure you've already wikipediaed it already or home star runnered it, but : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chupacabra

Funzo - You might want to get your rabies shots soon.

Lily - what are you talking about wives club? Is that a new clique you've started with Merri?

From Burt on Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 17:26:53 from 206.19.214.144

Oh, the wives club. You mean that thing from yesterday. No wives today, but I did see my brother-in-law. Wait a minute, he was headed to my house...

Beware of the chupacabras!

Good job squeezing in a run with your tight schedule today.

I wanna know what you were doing that you could only run 3 miles. LOL

From Dan on Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 22:50:43 from 24.209.83.20

From Burt on Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 23:01:14 from 72.223.90.79

The chupacabras peed in your rice, Dan.

From SlowJoe on Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 23:01:40 from 184.79.24.255

I have an interesting story about chupacabras but I don't have time to get into it...for undiscolsed reasons.

From Burt on Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 23:03:10 from 72.223.90.79

Were you being intimate with them Joe?

From SlowJoe on Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 23:05:44 from 184.79.24.255

Well first they said I was handsome, and then... Wait, I said I'm not talking about it!

From The Quiet Pirate on Wed, Apr 13, 2011 at 11:24:46 from 152.26.59.252

Down here in the south, Chupacabra is usually served battered and deep fried with some texas pete hot sauce and a side of mayonnaise. It's delcious, but sometimes the next morning, you'll only be able to run 3 miles....for personal reasons.

From Burt on Wed, Apr 13, 2011 at 11:59:00 from 72.223.90.79

QP - sounds like it would be worth it. Yum.
